Description

Someone calls your work and leaves a message to tell you she is pregnant. The mystery caller doesn't leave a name, so your coworker Kate tries to help you uncover who it was as you recall the events with the different girls from your recent past.

Soon the two of you become detectives as you work out the case of who you've knocked up. It doesn't help when you don't have the phone numbers of your one night stands, and the girls you thought you were on good terms with aren't answering their phones.

Unexpected is a narrative focused, choice driven game made in Twine told with text  and aided by 3D rendered visuals to bring the story to life. It contains adult content.

Written by Expanding Universe Games teamed up with WereyWorks for visuals.

Game Jam Information

The game was created for the 2025 Preggo Game Jam, and is therefore early in its development. Several scenes are currently summarized in order to make the deadline of being finished in only three weeks, and will be extended and developed further in the future.

The theme of the Preggo Game Jam this year was "Pushing The Limits", and the way that's implemented is through the Main Character and his response to the events in the game. At first he denies that he has impregnation or pregnancy fetishes, but the story conspires to test that by pushing him to the limit.

The main plot itself involves him finding out one of the girls he's been with is pregnant, and he is faced with the fact he has been reckless recently. Also, his coworker Kate has been trying to start a family herself and seems to think he has something of a breeding kink. As the story progresses, he'll have the chance to turn a new leaf and be more careful and stop being so risky with the ladies in his life - or not.

Unexpected is currently a proof of concept, but was planned out in advance, so the details of where it's going and where choices lead are deliberate.

Fetishes Include:

Impregnation
Pregnancy
Breast expansion
Harems

Cant get to work on android :(

(1 edit)

Aww, man. Thanks for letting me know. I'll try to figure out a fix and remove the Android icon until I can.

In the meantime, it should still be playable in browser on this game page by pressing Run Game.

Yo.

Interesting. There aren't many games in this Jam where the protagonist is a man. And one who's responsible for the situation.

I like:
-The direction of the story. In a way, I almost feel like we're Kate, following the story of this little jerk who can't control himself... I mean that affectionately. lol
-The pregnancy seen through the eyes of a man involved is interesting.

Dislike/Not Dislike:
-The 3D isn't my thing, but it's still well done. It's more a question of style. Everyone will like it or not.

Dislike:
-No music. I listened to the Costa del Sol theme throughout the game. You might like the style, given the scene where the game takes place.
-It was quite long, but it left us wanting more. Personally, I want to see more.

Final point:
Well thought out for the story. The development is quite long, but if the game that follows is as well-crafted in terms of its storyline, it only bodes well. Just a small note about the writing. Sometimes we get lost between the protagonists' words. And reading every 3 lines of "I said" / "She said" breaks the writing style a bit. I invite you to check out the lexical field of the discussion. It would add a nice depth to your story.

In any case, I want the sequel. I want to know how this nonsense will end. I had a great time chatting around this table by this luxury pool. Now I'm thirsty and I want to go to the bar. lol. I wish you all the best and see you soon. Yes! I'm following you because I want the sequel. XD. Thank you for submitting your project for this Jam. Good work. :D

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I've been purposely hiding under a rock until the end of the Jam period, but we're excited to continue the story once we've had time to catch our breath XD

For the future, one of our top priorities is readability; this has definitely surfaced as a common feedback point. (Of course it goes without saying that we also want to continue fleshing out the story with all of the girls!)

I'd say it's an interesting story but it hasn't really gone anywhere yet. Considering everything I'd just recommend you check out EUG's other games for the moment.

There's a few little scenes and while it was enough for me to say it was time well spent, yeah I'd probably recommend waiting.

(Keep in mine this is just the launch version. If there's a few more updates it might be worth it)

Thanks for the interest! We (I) definitely underestimated how much time we'd need to put this together in a way that would feel more complete.

We hope that in a few updates' time we can better realize the fuller vision of this project. :)

Having seen how far Hypnosis has come I have faith you can do it. Though... it does remind me. Perhaps it's time to check it Endowed again?

Your timing is good; EUG dropped an Early Access update for Endowed yesterday!
